3 months internship student Visa process steps

The first important document is the internship agreement that must be signed by the student, the university and the hosting company. It is crucial that the internship agreement mentions ‘’unpaid’’ and ‘’less than 3 months’’ internship in order to get your visa validated by the Thai consulate.

Once you have the internship agreement finalized, the next step is to ask for the needed documents that must be provided by the hosting company [Company affidavit, copy of the passport of the company director and an invitation letter addressed to the Thai ambassador in your origin country (we can provide template on demand)].

Then you need to purchase your plane ticket and keep a proof of booking. Please make sure to select a return date within 3 months after your arrival date.

Once you have the company document, flight ticket and internship agreement ready, you can go to the closest Thai consulate in your origin country and submit your file directly to them, with a passport photo and the visa fee.

It takes about 1 week to get your internship student visa approved. You are all sorted and ready to come to Thailand for your internship!

In the case where you are enrolling for an internship of more than 3 months, you will need to reiterate the process above, at the term of your first 3 months of internship.
